Tired, but having fun

I'm trying to find the place the spirit meets the skin Can't figure out why that place feels so hard to be in We're all of us at this ill-fitting party Busy pretending to relate And it's getting harder and harder and harder to fake Acting like everything's in its place

This is a great cover by one of my all time faves, Benoit Pioulard. I think it perfectly sums up my life right now, or perhaps anyone's life at this age of confusion and ambition and exhaustion. Among other things.

Anyway, I have a busy couple of weeks ahead of me. I'm going away for the weekend for another lovely Restless Cities trip where we're expecting some sunshine, ocean breeze, and fine cuisine. It's going to be amazing. Then we have another theme park to visit next weekend for our soon-to-be-published sub series on LA Weekends about... yep, theme parks. We did Universal Studios and Disneyland. Knott's Berry Farm is up next! The weekend after that, I'm collaborating with a French magazine for a special feature which excites me to no end. So it's going to be terribly exhausting, but rewarding. I'll be sharing photos with you shortly!
