Milk and dark chocolate brownies

I spent most of today reacquainting myself with an old hobby: baking. I used to bake a lot back in college, but for some reason, the passion died. During the weekend, I bought a couple of ingredients and decided that I would make one of my favorites. This recipe is super simple and takes less than an hour to make. Might I add, t's perfect for chocolate lovers. I've made this more than a dozen times since I first learned it back in 2008.


Milk and Dark Chocolate Brownies 1/2 cup flour 1 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup melted butter 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup dark chocolate buttons 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Preheat your oven to 350°F. Using a mixer, combine melted butter and cocoa until it's gooey. Slowly add sugar and keep mixing until everything's combined well. Add eggs one by one. Fold in the dry ingredients then the vanilla. Add dark chocolate buttons and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Bake for 25 minutes. Transfer onto cooling rack after and cool for 10 minutes.
