Last Friday was a pretty gastronomic day. It started with an afternoon cold Hokkaido Milk Tea at Serenitea. I love how you can choose the sugar percentage and how there are many choices for the sinkers. You're not just stuck with boba which I really love anyway, but it's nice for people who want to try something new. Mine had 50% sugar with both the usual boba and lychee-flavored crystals. It was so good! It made pretending the drink wasn't fatty more worth it.
I met up with my best friends shortly after and we decided to have late lunch at Greek restaurant, Cyma. We were there to finalize our trip's itinerary and make last-minute hostel reservations. What's really good about being with people whose company you genuinely enjoy is that you sometimes end up talking for hours only to realize you haven't discussed what you were there for in the first place. It was our second attempt and we didn't get anything done again.
We ended our little date at The Distillery where the Royal Wedding was being shown. Imagine my delight when my friend told me that they had Timmermans! I drink light beer when I'm out not because I love it, but because it's the only alcoholic drink I can tolerate. A few weeks ago, we visited a place called Beers Paradise where I got to try Timmermans for the first time. I fell in love. It didn't taste like beer at all which makes it the perfect drink for me. The Distillery sells it for P100 cheaper than Beers Paradise too. How awesome is that? I won't have to go all the way to Makati for it now! Grrreat!
